Passion for handmade knives and knifemaking

My name is Bernard and I am the person behind Sirius Knives. Since I was a child, I’ve always been passionate about the outdoors and bushcraft.

My first handmade knife was an attempt to re-create the one my grandfather gave me when I was heading to one of my Scout camps. All my knives are hand-crafted by myself in the heart of beautiful Herefordshire.

The inspiration behind the name is quite obvious – Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky, but it also sounds – well – seriously! I am always trying to make sure that all my knives shine brightly when compared to similar products available on the market. Whether it’s hunting, fishing or exploring the woods, I hope you will find here the best knife for all your adventures.

Amazing knife! Its made with such a high quality, it has a good weight balance, I like the thick blade and wild dark marks on steel, the handle and the design have a beautiful smooth lines, yet I love the simplicity of it and the bog wood adds a magic touch.

Received item next day. Lovely traditional puukko style blade with excellent fit and finish. Needed to touch up edge to begin with and would like to see fatter scales for my size large hands. Neither issues detract from an overall supurb knife at an exceptional price.

Wonderful quality item and seller very helpful. Really nice, smooth finished piece of bog wood. Blade is fitted in like a glove.

Sturdy and a good weight to it. Seller warned me there was a slight imperfection on the wood, but they have filled it in so well it’s very hard to see, just as they said it would be. Recipient will love it.

The knife arrived quickly and in mint condition. The blade is of excellent quality steel. SiriusKnives fabricated handle fits the hand perfectly with the seamless blending of bone and wood that is separated by a diagonal band of brass. A solid brass guard fits snug against the blade with no blade.

From the handle to the tip of the blade a rock-solid bush craft blade to complete the finer of work of getting the job done.
